"How to Become a Big Man in Africa" - Book chat with Professor 'Wale Adebanwi, June 2025
Led the collaboration with Gates Cambridge to host a Nigerian Cantab, Professor ‘Wale Adebanwi, for a talk on his book, ‘How to Become a Big Man in Africa’. Professor Adebanwi was a Gates’ scholar who completed his PhD in Social Anthropology at Trinity Hall in 2008. The book talk includes his reflections on his writings and research since completing his PhD and on the configurations of social and political power in Nigeria and Africa.

Workshop Event, October 2020 -June 2021
Programme Leader, Cambridge Development Initiative, UK/Tanzania. A role that entailed leading a team of six to execute entrepreneurial workshops for 100s of trainees across eight communities (Kombo, Mtakuja, Vingunguti, Miembeni, Green Acres School area, Mabibo, Mugabe and Urafiki) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In addition, we collaborated with local partners to establish school health clubs and corresponding manuals for eight schools across the communities.
